Saskatoon Perimeter Freeway

A future freeway around the City of Saskatoon would improve traffic flow, alleviate congestion and improve safety.
Preliminary planning is underway to determine a route for a high-speed freeway around most of the City of Saskatoon. This general location study will be used for future planning.

A route has been selected for the North Perimeter Highway alignment. This route was recently validated by the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, City of Saskatoon and R.M. of Corman Park.

The current location study underway is looking at the southeast portion of the planned perimeter freeway.

The study is overseen by a steering committee that includes representation from the Ministry, the City, Corman Park, the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce and the regional economic development authority.
