MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN THE RM OF CORMAN PARK
FEBRUARY 29, 2012
The Government of Saskatchewan has accepted the recommendation of the people of the Rural Municipality of Corman Park to redraw the municipal boundaries and alter the number of divisions from 11 to eight. There will be an election February 29, 2012, to elect eight council members, one for each of the newly drawn boundaries.

You can also drop off your completed form at the R.M. office at the above address.
If your application is filled out correctly, the Municipal Office will send you a mail-in ballot package. If your application needs further information, the Municipal Office will contact you.
You are responsible for ensuring that your completed ballot is received by the Administrator no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, 29th day of February, 2012.

2011 EMERGENCY FLOOD DAMAGE REDUCTION PROGRAM
(EFDRP) WRAP-UP
The funding under the 2011 Emergency Flood Damage Reduction Program (EFDRP) is winding down. People who did work in 2011 can still apply for cost sharing; however they must contact Saskatchewan Watershed Authority (SWA) immediately. All receipts or bills that qualify under the EFDRP, up to and including December 31, 2011, are to be submitted no later than January 31, 2012. Any work done in 2012 is NOT eligible.

WINTER WEATHER PREPARATION
Winter is finally upon us and we need to be reminded of the risks that winter weather brings with it. We should be prepared for severe winter weather such as blizzards, extreme cold, ice storms, and power outages that can be cause from the winter weather. Preparing for winter weather includes personal emergency supply kits and car kits as well as preparedness for pets and livestock.

The R.M. of Corman Park requests that all persons driving on municipal roads obey signage. Signs (i.e. road closed, detour, etc.) are placed on the roadways for your safety. Do not go around or move signs. Thank you for your cooperation.
