Provincial Disaster Assistant Program (PDAP)
The R.M. of Corman Park has been approved for PDAP for the PLOW WINDS that occurred on JULY 17, 2014. Applications for this can be found at the R.M. office and online, here. Please note that original signatures are required.
Effective January 1, 2014, SGI provided a Fire Suppression and Vehicle Extration rate increase.
Landowners are reminded to have sufficient insurance to cover property loss and the cost of fire suppression. If you are planning a Controlled Burn, please contact 1-866-822-8522.
2014 Property Tax Notices were sent out July 10, 2014. If you have not received your Notice by July 31, 2014, contact the R.M. office at 306-242-9303.
Taxes are due December 31, annually. Any outstanding taxes will be assessed 1% interest on the first of each month, beginning January 1.
Agriculture Health & Safety Clinics
The Agricultrural Health & Safety Network offer clinics on respiratory health, hearing clinics as well as a variety of group workshops. Information can be found on their website here.
Free Water Testing - Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health is offering free bacterioogical testing of well water, if you have been affected by the recent flooding within the Province. Contact the Health Region to obtain sample bottles and forms.
Revised Proposed 5 per Quarter Bylaws - Bylaws 25/14 & 26/14
R.M. Council passed Bylaws 25/14 & 26/14 which proposed amendments to the single parcel country residential density policies in the R.M. from two residential yard sites per quarter to five residential yard sites per quarter.
The bylaws are not considered valid until they receive Ministerial approval therefore we cannot accept rezoning and subdivision applications at this time. We will post updated information when it becomes available including application information and requirements.
New Subdivision Servicing Fees
On June 16, 2014 RM Council passed policy PD-002 which provided for an increase in the subdivision servicing fees levied at the time of subdivision by RM Council.
New Re-subdivision Policy - Bylaw 33/13
Ministerial approval was granted on May 6, 2014 for Bylaw 33/13 which allows for the potential re-subdivision of multi-parcel country residential parcels.
Smartphone Apps for Agricultural Producers
The Saskatchewan Soil Conservation Association has launched seven Apps for Agricultural Producers.
Gopher Control Rebate Program
The Gopher Control Rebate Program has been renewed for 2014 and provides assistance to producers, R.M.'s and Indian Bands who incur significant costs to control gophers.
Langham Transfer Station - Change of Fees
On April 7, 2014 the Langham Town Council passed a Bylaw to commence charging to use the Langham Transfer Station.
Risk of Spring Flooding
Many R.M. of Corman Park homeowners, residents and farmers should consider that there will be a high likelihood of flooding in their area this spring.

Tax Installment Payment Plan Service (TIPPS)
The R.M. of Corman Park No. 344 is implementing the Tax Installment Payment Plan Service (TIPPS). TIPPS allows property owners to pay taxes in 12 monthly installments.

Sask Water Dis-Continuation of Non-Potable Water Service to Rural Residents
All SaskWater customers will be required to either discontinue the non-potable supplies that are residential in nature or, at a minimum,terminate the supply so that it does not enter any residential dwellings prior to December 31, 2014.
